Nendaz is the undiscovered jewel in Europe's ski crown. Suited to groups and families alike, Nendaz is fantastic resort popular with the Swiss and French, but only just being 'discovered' by British skiers.

Part of the 4 Valleys Ski Area

Nendaz is a friendly and relaxed village that together with Verbier, Thyon and La Tzoumaz form the 4 Valleys ski area, which boasts an impressive 412km of piste.

Nendaz is located in the heart of the Valais region on a plateau overlooking the Rhone valley and offering a breathtaking panoramic view over the Alps. This wonderful scenery is amplified by an incredible amount of sunshine, with the region known as the sunniest in Switzerland. Nendaz offers an excellent value alternative to Verbier, with quick and easy access to the 4 Valleys circuit including Verbier itself, plus plenty of great terrain in the local Printz ski area.

Family Friendly

Nendaz has a friendly village atmosphere with plenty of non-skiing activities and has been given a special "Families Welcome" label by the Fédération Suisse du Tourisme for its family friendly credentials.

Great Apres Ski

Après ski certainly doesn't suffer, with a couple of real apres hotspots and an array of bars and a popular nightclub in Nendaz town. Après Ski often includes DJs spinning their stuff on the slopes after the skiing's done for the day. Nendaz is also host to a variety of events throughout the season, including the FIS Snowboard World Cup and the Nendaz Freeride, part of the Freeride World Tour.

Après Ski

Choose from lively nightlife with dozens of apres ski bars and live music to piano bars and relaxed cafes. Straight off the slopes there are a couple of immediate apres hotspots with big sun (snow!) terraces and then in town there's an abundance of bars and pubs to carry on to.

Themed bars are popular in Nendaz with Canadian, Moroccon, Mexican and of course Swiss establishments all waiting for the keen apres ski crowd. Finally for the real party animals there's also nightclubs in town including L'Oxygen, Le Feeling and Le Bal.

If you're looking for apres ski, do remember that on January 16th the FIS Snowboarding World Cup is being held in Nendaz and on the March 13th the Nendaz Freeride takes place - both promise to have a great selection of apres ski events to choose from!
