Nendaz is the undiscovered jewel in Europe's ski crown. Suited to groups and families alike, Nendaz is fantastic resort popular with the Swiss and French, but only just being 'discovered' by British skiers.
Part of the 4 Valleys Ski Area
Nendaz is a friendly and relaxed village that together with Verbier, Thyon and La Tzoumaz form the 4 Valleys ski area, which boasts an impressive 412km of piste.
Nendaz is located in the heart of the Valais region on a plateau overlooking the Rhone valley and offering a breathtaking panoramic view over the Alps. This wonderful scenery is amplified by an incredible amount of sunshine, with the region known as the sunniest in Switzerland. Nendaz offers an excellent value alternative to Verbier, with quick and easy access to the 4 Valleys circuit including Verbier itself, plus plenty of great terrain in the local Printz ski area.
Family Friendly
Nendaz has a friendly village atmosphere with plenty of non-skiing activities and has been given a special "Families Welcome" label by the Fédération Suisse du Tourisme for its family friendly credentials.
Great Apres Ski
Après ski certainly doesn't suffer, with a couple of real apres hotspots and an array of bars and a popular nightclub in Nendaz town. Après Ski often includes DJs spinning their stuff on the slopes after the skiing's done for the day. Nendaz is also host to a variety of events throughout the season, including the FIS Snowboard World Cup and the Nendaz Freeride, part of the Freeride World Tour.
